I rented a place from Michael Renney in April 2013. Due to unreasonable living conditions I was forced to move out before the lease expired. I gave him more than a month's notice and also offered to do everything I can to to facilitate finding a replacement tenant. Michael Renney called me and informed me that the owner did not want a new tenant as he was moving into the property and that he (Michael) would be taking () part of my deposit for his outstanding commission. he then proceeded to email a spreadsheet to me outlining how much he was going to. After, the outstanding electricity deductions (for August 2013 and up to 15th September - questionable) and some plumbing charges (also questionable), not only is he retaining my deposit but he claims that I owe him money. I am not responsible for his loss of commission and he has no right to my deposit for his outstanding commission. I agree to electricity charges up until 15th September 2013 and I want the rest of my money back immediately - that would be right, just and fair.
