My husband and I had a viewing in Durbanville at 23 Basson street on 19/9/13 at 11am and on 18/9 my husband called the agent, Carla, to arrange to move the time to a little later since he wouldn't be able to make it anymore due to an important business meeting that came up. When she said it wouldn't be possible at all, he asked for a viewing maybe the next day or even the next week, which she also said is "impossible". She was in no way assisting or considerate and said she was going to call back. After a while we received an sms that the viewing was cancelled and that the property was already taken. Question is, what if we kept to our original viewing appointment for the next day- would we still have been considered potential tenants or would we have gotten there only to be dissapointed that the property was already taken? Aren't they suppose to give a fair viewing opportunity to the public for longer than 2 days (it was only listed om Gumtree on 16/9)? Very strange way these agents deal with their clients. I won't recommend any person working with Carla if they are considering renting or buying through Rawson in the Durbanville area.
