Trafalgar sent the owners a statement indicating that they charged us R2325.11 printing charges for the AGM notice in APR, and R2325.11 for the following weeks AGM because the first AGM didnt make a qourum, (also note that no electronic notices were sent in this regard). I asked for a break down on the calculations and this is the fomula they gave me
For APR its R1 Vat (31 PG x 40) which equals R1413.6, and for MAY (i.e. the following weeks AGM) R1 Vat (31 PG x 42) which equals R1484.28, i dont know why 42 copies on the second one, however, on the AGM report they charged us R2325.11 and R2325.
I checked my post and realized that i never received any hard copy print out from Trafalgar, only the electronic copy, and went on to ask other owners who also indicated that they only received electronic copies.
I queried this with Adele and she said they are not accountable to ensure that the posts are delivered, some of the owners live in the complex and no notice was delivered to them also
It seems like Trafalgar is charging us printing fees for electronic copies they sent, and no where in the ACT does it say they must send the same document twice, which they claim to have done
