I started staying in a bachelor flat in steyn's place Pretoria in cnr Schoeman and Vandervalt since last year the beginning of July, the rent was R2800 monthly. Three months down the line suddenly my rent went up, it was close to R4000, 1st month I thought it was charges and water included but it didn't decrease from then on it went up and up. I laid 1st complain complain in December and I was told it will be investigated and they will get back to me in January and they didn't. I went to them the beginning of January and I was told to wait for a call, then I spoke to the building land lord to come check why and what could possibly increase my rent to that extreme amount, but shockingly there was nothing faulty found in my flat that could cause the rent increase. Then one day I got a call from city property (Pretoria) telling me the results which they never found anything that could possibly cause my rent go that high and they don't see the reason to give me back my money. Up to today I never got my money back and i don't have a clue why my rent went up. Thanking you for your assistance in advance.
