In January 2013 I moved out of a flat that I had rented out through National Real Estate, I was very disappointed by the lack of respect and poor customer service I received from Joelene Vd Westhuizen. She never bothered to contact me, she told me to contact her and when I did she still didn't have any response she still had to call me back, only to tell me I had to pay for things that were never in the flat when I moved in, I escalated the matter to Marcell. And finally the matter was sorted, well so I thought. I got the money paid into my account and to my surprise my deposit was R2200 less than what it should have been, I called Joelene again (know why I bothered with this woman). She told me that was the balance from my electricity bill which was done through Remote Metering, she sent me a statement which did not have any records of the payment I had made. I requested a statement from Remote Metering and it had a different balance. A lady by name of Anja form Remote Metering sent an e-mail stating that they never received any payments on my behalf from national Real Estate they had in actual fact written off any amounts due from tenants. So why are they making tenants pay
