Between April 2011 - April 2013 I was a tenant of VP, at their units in Midrand, San Ridge Village. Vision Props being the agent. Over a two year period we lived under unfavorable circumstances (i.e. shower never worked, kitchen sink leaking and main door handle faulty). We reported these faults immediately after we moved in and unfortunately never resolved. After numerous follow ups, we were copied by the landlord responding to the agent pointing out his dismay with their lack of professionalism in this regard. Six months later still nothing done about this, we decided not to renew our contract and parted ways with Vision Props. To my surprise, after all this ordeal my deposit wasn't paid full. After asking for answers I was told that my deposit was used towards repairing some of the faults and there's nothing they can do to resolve it. Firstly, I was ripped off by this company (charged for shower that i never got to use and my family's health put at risk by a stinking shower and sink that was dripping water throughout this period. Lastly, I am made to paid for faults that I find there. I wonder what is the consumers act says about this as I find it unacceptable... I remain. Khaya
