TERRIBLE SERVICE AND NON-DELIVERY

Good morning,

I ordered and paid for a new shower door / glass in August 2012 from the offices/factory of Furman Glass on Main Reef road. To date, I have not received the shower door. I have called numerous times and visited their offices this past week, and was assured by a Mr Michael Mukhuba that the shower door would be delivered on Thursday 17 Jan 2013. I thus arranged that I work from home and had someone on standby to fit the shower door, also to allow their delivery guys access to my premises when they arrive. The delivery of the shower door did not take place. I subsequently had to pay for the installation of the shower door because i had the labourer waiting with me for the shower door.

I am extremely dissatisfied by the terrible service that I have received from Furman Glass. I sent them an email on friday 18/01 demanding that the shower door be delivered and installed to my premises by 11:00 am that morning, failing which I would then take the matter up with the consumer council and the necessary statutory bodies.
To date, the shower door has not been delivered or installed. Please assist. This company`s staff is extremely unprofessional.
