The sewage system at our house (in Mondeor) is blocked since October 2013. Since the problem is outside the house, I informed Johannesburg Water about this.
They gave ne a reference number.
They never fixed it.
I tried to find out, what was happening in December. I quoted the first reference number.
I got an automated reply.
Shortly after that I received a mail saying that they would escalate the case. And they gave me another reference number.

Shortly after that I received a mail saying that they would escalate the case. And they gave me another reference number.

Who are they kidding?
If they do not come to repair a sewage problem in three months, that is bad.
But if they use a system of reference numbers, that seems to be designed to keep the customer in the dark - that's worse!
