Government Pension Administration Agency
9 months passed with no payout on Divorced benefit

Me and my ex-wife are both contributors to GEPF. We got divorced on 01 April 2011. My ex-wife submitted a claim to GPAA on 23 November 2012 and she received her payout end of January 2013. I submitted my claim (cross claim) on 19 April 2013 to the GPAA. After nine months and several calls and e-mails to their office I am stuck. On 09 December 2013 they send me an e-mail stated that the claim was send to their financial department for calculations. No payment yet. It is frustrating because I can only phone the call centre number and the person at the call centre can not always assist me on what I need to know. I am so frustrated! I include the e-mail underneath that I received on 09 December 2013 from the GPAA:
Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for contacting the GPAA.
We apologize for the late response and for any inconvenience caused.
With reference to the e-mail below, kindly be advised that your application has been sent to the finance section for calculations.
