I lodged the application for my sons un a bridged birth certificate last year October 2012. I still have not received it and it is now February 2013. When i lodged the application the promised me it will take 6-8 weeks. I am starting to get very angry now as i need this for the Australian government. If i do not have it by the 8 of February 2013 i am going to the hawks and laying charges against home affairs head office. When i call the call center they till me it is sitting on someones desk waiting to be sign. I have had enough and i will take actions to make sure i get the document i require in my hand by the end of the week.
