My divorced was finalised last year on the 20th of August 2012 & submitted documents at GEPF offices in Pretoria on the 21st of September 2012. My lawyers also called GEPF & faxed documents & they received confirmation of receipt. My lawyers & I have been calling every two weeks as advised by the call center agents to find out how far are they with the payment of pensions. Every time when we call the call center agenst tell us that the legal depoartment is busy working on my file but they don`t tell us what`s delaying the payment. The agents keep on escalating the matter to the supervisor to find out what`s the delay from the legal department. It`s over 1 year now & have not received any feedback. This is frustrating because I had to pay lawyers as well to follow the matter for me & is affecting me financially. The divorce agreement stated that I must be paid half my ex spouses pension with 60 working days but I`m still waiting up until now. Can someone help me?
