Hi, Just received an email from "SARS" saying I have received 3, 650.80 in my account and to follow the link to see the source of the payment. I have not done my efiling for this year. I find it very strange that SARS would ask me to follow a link. Never-the-less I followed it to a page that looks very legit with tabs on the left panel that cannot be accessed as well as bank names in the middle of the screen. This is what it says :
"Welcome to SARS eFiling! A payment of R3, 650.80 has been made into your account from SARS eFiling
In other to process and confirm this payment, please click on the financial institution you bank with.
Notice: Your log-in details will be verified.
To confirm the payment so it reflects in your account, your account will be verified for security reasons."
This is very dodgy and I would like to know if this is a and how do these people get our information.
What is the next step. Should I do anything?
