On 26/08 I handed in a Writ of Execution provided by the labour court to Balju Sheriff, Three rivers regarding the case between myself and Siyaphambili Secondary school. They requested a deposit of R1000 before taking on the case which was paid in full. We were then advised that the matter would be resolved within two months. We then approached the Board of Sheriffs and spoke to Andile Tshotyana (021) 462 3209 concerning the difference in cost compared to the R300 to R350 rate charged by other Sheriffs. Also the time frame as other Sheriffs stipulate a 2 week resolution period. Another concern is that we would not receive the deposit we made as stipulated in the Writ of Execution, plus the 15.5% per annum interest as included from the 5th of July. Andile requested an email which was sent on the 28/08 and several times thereafter since he claimed not to have received it. Finally on 13/09 he confirmed receipt and said he will investigate and revert. On 17/09 we then called to speak to Lindiwe his supervisor because we received no feedback from him. He then called in the afternoon to notify us that he could not get a hold of the Sheriff yet we were able to. The board is not assisting us!
