Living in Canary Road - Horizon View, a one way street. Constantly taxis and passenger vehicles driven by parents or arrogant youngsters ignore the one way sign. They simply drive up against traffic and children from the Horizon View Primary School often block the pedestrian crossing preventing the vehicles to go ilegally into one way traffic. I have informed the SAPS several times telephonically, no response at all, yet I see often cops shopping in uniform and with a states vehicle shopping at Checkers at the Village shopping centre.
As a true banana republic, this country is not interested in the safety of our children. Instead our children get educated how to disobbey the law in the near future creating total anarchy.
Especially the taxi industry seem to stand above the law which is proof that together with the South African Police 'Service' both are legal criminal organisations.
Citizens have absolutely no rights anymore.
An accident in Canary Road is only to happen but as we are all 'proudly South African' we just hope it is not going to be 'my' child involved and for the rest we don't care as long 'it does not happen to me' attitude.
