This is just to confirm the poor service received from Menlyn Private Bank.
Various attempts was launched over a period of time to merely receive the service from Private Bank Menlyn that one would expect from a normal branch, but they could not even manage that basic level of service.
Absa markets the service of their Private Bank Service as an exceptional private banking experience built on a lasting one-on-one relationship with a Absa Private Banker, sadly nothing could be further from the truth.
Private Bank Menlyn, & more specific Susan Rudling has time & again failed to deliver the promised service and she is obviously not appropriately trained to be a Private Banker.
Susan's senior, Magda Labuschagne and the branch manager Benita Waldeck were also informed of the complaints.
It is difficult to get hold of them & are often out of the office.
Early September a formal complaint was also lodged on the ABSA Action line pleading for some service / assistance, more than a week went by with no reaction & a second complaint was lodged.
