We are always told TV license is per household. I have always paid for TV license every year. I have a friend who moved in with me; that has recently bought a TV; on the same address and has paid TV licence for my address.
I get demanding text messages saying I need to pay; even though there is an existing paid up license for my address; and when calling into the Call Centre today; I get an arrogant response saying; because I am not married; I have to pay TV licence as well.
So does it mean that if I have 7 TV's in my house I have to pay R250.00 times 7 every year.
Rather resort to the trend of using laptops only.
