I was approched by Fine Nkomo at Standard Bank to attend training in trading. He explained that there will be a monthly deduction of R662.00 commence from November 2012 for the next 5 years. I paid R500.00 cash on that day for the starter kit provided by Fine. He advised that the training would take place every Saturday at Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Good and well they started deducting the R662.00 from November, however I never been for training to date. It's a huge inconvienience to me as I have to go to my branch on a monthly basis to reverse the payment. I called Robin Lewis in February she advised that I send a cancellation letter (which I did). However, nothing happened. When I called again 19/04/2013, Robin advised that she's get back to me an had to speak to her HR dept. No response, until I called her toady and she said that I had to have cancelled 5 days after interview with Fine. Since they can't help, I guess the Consumer Ombud would be more helpful.
