I paid R2000 for a Chelino campcot ordered online via a reputable company. After 4 months of use the board was sagging so badly there was a dip where my grandson would roll. The bassinett was no longer in use. My grandson couldn't even sit and play in his cot. We only realised just how bad it had been when we lent a campcot for when our's was sent back to the supplier. The online company was very helpful and contacted the supplier to collect the campcot. I was informed by the supplier Anchor International that they would insert extra supports under the bassinet for "future use" (they weren't interested when I explained we dont use the bassinet)
And a new board supplied. When asked what would happen if the new board collapsed as the undercarriage is clearly faulty. Their attitude has been absolutely arrogant and rude, the online company has been amazing but has also had no joy with them. My question to them was this: I have paid R2000 for a campcot for my first grandchild - do they expect me to accept a refurbished cot? After paying R2000? And what will happen if this board sags because the campcot is faulty and the one year warranty is up? Do I sit with a defective cot that is
