Both my parents passed away one day apart in the year 2000. My father worked at his last company for twenty seven (27) years and previously at other companies. When it was time for the will and estates to be paid out we realised that he never drew unemployment money. We enquire about that money and they told us it was handed over to the state and we will not get it. My question why are we as his children not entitled to money my father father paid. Please help me to understand or what is there we could do?
