I called Boksburg Post Office on Tuesday morning to enquire about a parcel that I needed to collect on behalf of someone, but which had been delayed due to the postal strike.
Erasmus checked and told me that the parcel had not yet arrived, but should hopefully be delivered by the end of the week.
He asked for my contact number.
Later that day he called me, and asked me to confirm the tracking number, which I did, and within 5 minutes he called back to let me know that the parcel had been received and that I could come and collect this.
He was courteous and polite every time I spoke to him.
Unfortunately he wasn't in when I went to collect the parcel, but I would like to publically thank him for going the extra mile.
