I feel that it is unacceptable that we as consumers that rely on the service of the Post office need to suffer because of strikes. Surely they should make a plan, get temporary staff, or something. So I tweeted them the following: "Dear @SAPOSTOFFICE please get your striking workers back to work, people really rely on your service as a big part of their business" Not to be rude, just to get the fact that people really rely on their service, accross. And I got this reply: "@maiden_name No cant do. Why don't you try email, on this thing called the internet? Sending mail is so 2009." To which I responded: "@SAPostOffice that's quite rude. Boxes of product can't fit in an e-mail". Then they responded: "They do fit in a courier van. And they say us postal workers are stupid..." I feel that this was really unnecessarily rude to me. I send parcels via the PO almost everyday (I have my own businness and post all my orders via the PO) and am a constant supporter, the striking is unfortunate but I feel they cannot just shrug and say "well sorry" And then call loyal customers STUPID! I am extremely disappointed
