Sick and tired of yet... another post office strike, the second in 5 months... just when I am desperately waiting for saw blades (that isn't for sale anywhere in our country) from the USA that is probably already in the country... with many orders and deadlines! Why is it that everything comes to a standstill for weeks on end when the temporary workers are on strike. And I am tired of the post office's empty promises about contingency plans, with the last strike some parcels took 6 weeks to finally arrive!! Don't they realize how much small businesses depends on them for smooth and efficient handling of our parcels, or do they just not care???
It is time that the people in head office do something about this, either employ people that are willing to work or go and get your hands dirty and sort our parcels out.
And I don't believe your nice words about contingency plans anymore, according to my local post office nothing has come in since Friday 15 February.
