The SA Post Office is pathetic!! I had a parcel sent to me from Durban on 13 February, and as of today 05 March this parcel has still not reached me. According the system it is still in transit and sitting in Durban from 16 February. However I was told my a call centre agent, that it's sitting in JHB main sorting area from 17 February. With these conflicting reports I don't actually know where my parcel is sitting and when I'll ever receive it. It's pathetic that contigency plans are not in place to prevent/ eliminate these long delays and disruptions. You would think these plans would be in place after the crippling strike they faced just last year.
No updates or even apologies are even made and I'm left wondering if my parcel will be found or be delivered once the strike is over!!
