I used the SABC Online system to pay my TV licence. This generated the following note:
"Thank you for paying your TV licence via the SABC's on-line payment facility. We hereby confirm that your payment instruction has been received and processed. Your transaction reference number is. Please use this number in any enquiries on this matter. Your credit card has been debited in the ampount of 250.00. Should you have any queries, please contact our Customer Care Centre on (011) 330-9555 [...] or [Email Removed] [...]
Since then I have received several notices indicating that I have not paid. I have now phoned and written on numerous occasions (stating the reference number), without response. All that I need is for someone to check the reference number and give me feedback on that particular instance. Thus far, the response has been non-existent.
