To mention only one of the problems:
We used Bigfoot Express for a couple of our deliveries across South Africa and have now realized that because we pay cash (COD instead of 30 days from statement), this gives Bigfoot the right to damage as much property as the want to without any recourse for us as a company. We simply have to write off the product they transported and pay the delivery in full or else.
And then if you do query the damaged delivery they send someone to your offices to sit there and wait for payment and use other deliveries to blackmail you into payment for the damaged delivery - excellent business ethic!
The administration for application of new accounts also leaves much desired.
I can confidently say that in the 11-years of business, this has been the worst experience I have had with another business in as many years. A very large part of our business depends on delivery of stock country wide, and Bigfoot Express makes this a very difficult task indeed.
