I went to the Sandton post office on Monday the 21/01/13 to post a parcel to Bloemfontein. I bought their envelope and requested insurance on the parcel as it contained 2 brand new Nokia Asha cell phones for my mum and niece. They asked me for the value of the phones and I said R700 each and then paid insurance of R28.00 for this.. I called the Post Office call centre on Monday 28/02 to query and they advised the parcel is at Witspos. I phoned the next day and every day there after and the feedback was still the same. The parcel had still not left Witspos. on 01/02/13. I received a call from the Post office call centre and he advised that the parcel cannot be found and that I should go to the Sandton post office to complete a form. I went in there and was told by the person assisting me that I can only query after 30 days. He then proceeded to cross question me, asking if I called Witspos, Bloemfontein and my mother. I then emailed my complaint to customer services attaching the required document as provided by the Sandton Branch, and was advised to go back to Sandton to submit the documents. WHY??? YOU DO IT!! I WANT MY PARCEL, do not inconvinience me for your dishonest staff!!!
