Electricty Bill/Disconnect for addtional deposit

Good Day,

I moved in a complex in midrand in 2009. When I moved in the Protea Metering company that does the metering for water and electricty requested R1100 deposit, which i duely paid.

In September 2012, the company added R1400 deposit on my bill which I am required to pay to continue using electricty which I do not understand as I intially paid the deposit. In january 2012, I was disconnected for the outstanding amount on a deposit which I paid (R600) on 15th of January to keep my lights on. My usage for the period of dec/jan is R347 however im required to pay R1700 (600 part of the deposit, 620 (reconnection fee and R347.
