I bought a Tempo watch for my husband in August for his birthday through BASH as we just moved to Pretoria and I was not sure where to find an American Swiss, this is my 5th watch that I bought for my husband and none of the other 4 had problems like this 1, when I saw the add waterproof I realise this will be the best buy as I never takes of his watch when he washes hands or swim. He had his watch on for about 20minutes when he washes his hands and realise that the watch is fogging up on the inside and took it off, I then contacted BASH where I was told to go to American Swiss and goggle the 1 in Centurion Mall. Watch was given in the 29th October 10.17 and took a month without anybody phoning me when I phoned on the 27th of November I was told they waiting for a part and will phone me back, never phoned me back and received a SMS at 18.31 to say it's ready for collection. (REF NO REO10148002706) when I went there I was told the watch is not water resistant nor waterproof I asked if I can pay extra as this watch is not going to last like the previous 4 where the lady told me that the strap is scratch they can't do it. I'm sorry there was nothing wrong when I handed it in and my husband didn't even had it on for long. Al his previous watches I gave in at American Swiss in Ladysmith when we stayed there and if there was scratch on the strap or glass it was noted but not in Centurion because there was nothing wrong when I handed it in. In all my married life this is the only watch me and my husband ever bought (Tempo) because of the good quality watches but I'm shock with this 1 and it was not cheap either. I will like to asked if I can send it back for a better watch the is waterproof like I originally bought as per the advertisement. I even battle to get my parcel in time for my husband's birthday.
