I ordered a parcel from on 27 Jan, and was promised it would be delivered on 31 Jan at 10:30. The company I ordered from uses Speed Services Couriers. I had a choice of post office to post office delivery for R75, or door-door for R150. I paid for door-door, and now on 4 Feb my parcel has still not arrived. When queried, I was told it was due to the Post Office strike, and that Speed Services Couriers is a member of the Post Office group.
I find it unacceptable that I paid a courier company for door-door service only to be told that they are unable to deliver due to the strike. I could have paid for the cheaper option instead, but now I have wasted my money on a service that has not been delivered to me.
Will never use them again, all other courier companies are still up and running.
