The warranty was rejected out of hand by Mercedes who were the underwriters as it expired in October 2013.
Mitsubishi have no interest in the vehicle sold in South Africa.
Imperial who sell Mitsubishi in South Africa say that parts wear differently in each vehicle unfortunately I have a vehicle that had a gearbox failure at 62000 km with is OK with Mitsubishi as they said some parts just fail.
Next time you by a Mitsubishi ask if you parts will just fail and will Mitsubishi say it is normal as they did in my case and assist with a reconditioned gear box.
My father's cost was R 25000.00 cost to Mitsubishi nil they negotiated a special deal with the repair shop.
