I am writing this on behalf of my housekeeper. On the 26 April at 03h00 R299 was withdrawn from her account. She had never spoken to anyone, nor authorised this transaction, nor given her bank details to anyone. The perpetrator of this blatant thievery is Ss Direct. We did the follow up and got the contact numbers and phoned Ss Direct in Durban to be met with aggression, ignorance and the run around that everyone else has experienced when dealing with these people. Has anyone had any success in reporting this to the National Consumer Council/Consumer Protection Act? This 'company' has been scamming people for a long time as indicated by the other reports on. We have to somehow get action from the Banks, police or whomever and stop these!
