One of the off spins of the CPA (Consumer Protection Act) is the implementation and control of a "Do Not Call Me" database. This database lists all the people, phone numbers and email addresses who have opted out of direct marketing services.
Despite me being registered on the DMA (Direct Marketing Association of Southern Africa) National opt out database, Yambu constantly calls from number 0878081300, to advertise their legal services on offer. As Yambu is constantly calling, it is my human right as legislated by the Consumer Protection Act to enquire from whom they are obtaining my contact details. As I have requested Yambu to refrane from contacting me on numerous occasions, I am now obligated to practise my right.
1. I want to know whom/where this firm is getting my contact details from, AND also;
2. that I be removed from their records/databases PERMANENTLY.
A simple apology from Yambu will not suffice on this occassion, but rather the afore mentioned criteria will need to be dealt with in chronological order.
