On the day I arrived for my Brazilian Blow Wave, I was asked to go the the basin for a wash- Assistant (It was my first time there) I got a wash. I then went to sit and another lady the so called "Hair Stylist" started putting this Cacau chemical in my hair. She was done in 10mins. Then she started blow drying my hair but was between me and another client who was doing colour. So the assistant continued. It was semi dry when the assistant started straightening my hair with an hair iron. She was taking small sections and doing them over and over again- Which to my knowledge was the right thing to do. She got through two sections when she was then asked to stop to the stylist could continue. When the assistant left the stylist said "She works to slow" and continues to straighten my hair in huge pieces and was done in like minutes. I was told i could wash my hair the following day. She then sold me a Salon made Shampoo and Conditioner for R200 a bottle. When i washed my hair 3days later... to let it hold longer, it was more broken, curly and frizzy then before.
I am not impressed and plan on taking this to the Consumer Tribunal council.
