I bought a Groupon voucher for R500 to have a Brazilian Blow wave done on my hair at Salon on Grant. The service was shoddy - extension cords running everywhere, slow service, he couldn't find any of his equipment. He spent more time looking for his equipment than actually working on my hair. He used a product that I have used before so I know it works. His application of the product was appalling. The chemical is applied and then a HOT iron has to be used to set the product. He whisked the iron through my hair without separating it into pieces, therefore the product DID NOT set in my hair. He didn't get to all the hair. He didn't even get close to the roots. When I asked him to go closer to the root, he said it will make my hair fall out. So I have spent R500 and my hair is still curly and frizzy. He sold me shampoo and conditioner for R420 and it is shocking quality. Every time I use it, the little bit of hair that did take to the Brazilian, gets washed out. I have had 2 Brazilians before, and I know how they are supposed to work. I watched as he butchered the lady's hair next to me. He spilled peroxide and she had lumps of white hair. I watched while they tried to cover it up!
