In 2010 July I took a loan with Capitec of R7000. My instalment was R1000 a month, I paid for 3months and unfortunately I went for a 4 months unpaid maternity leave though I called and explained to the bank that I won't be able to pay for that reason I do understand it accumulated interest, in Feb 2011 when I go back to work a lady called Nthabiseng phoned me abt the debt I arranged to pay R400 a month and the capital amount was R10000 at that time. I paid with a debit order since feb 2011 and as I was struggling financially I skipped a month in 2012 a month or two I'm not sure, my problem is that I don't get statements which shows how much I paid since 2010 until 2013 August and how much interest they charge me. My calculations tells I have already paid more than R15000 back to capitec excluding the months I skipped. I would appreciate if they can send me a full statement ranging from the 1st month I paid back until the last month I stopped paying. I do understand non payments affects my credit profile but I believe in transperancy when it comes to billing of debts and I am willing to take responsibilty of my debt so that we can sought out this matter amicably.
