I applied for a loan with Capitec bank, biggest regret of my life. I've never been exposed to such bad service. During the first month the debit order went through perfectly, luckily I got paid before debit order went through. Second payment I hadn't been paid and they went into my account, they didn't get anything and I incurred bank charges of R115.00. I asked for refund from Capitec but they refused. When I took the loan I informed the consultant that we get paid late on the last day of the month. So I need to choose a day that I know would be convenient for me. The day that I'm sure my salary would be in my account but nobody seems to understand that. I even called the head office apparently there's nothing they can do since my bank statement reflects that I get paid on the last day of the month. October month end I got paid on the 30th and to my amazement my account was debited on that day. What if my salary was transferred on the 31st and I incurred bank charges again? I'm not happy with this arrangement. It's going to ruin my life. :( :( :(.
