I have to pay failed debt for Capitec incompetance

My Capitec debt order usually goes off 27/ 28th of every month. December I kept waiting for my debt to come off and by the 30th Dec 2013 I became a worried cause I do not want to be in arrears. So I go online to check my account and to my horror I see Capitec tried to debt my account 24 Dec and there are bank charges amounting to R230 for failed debt. I go to Goodwood branch to query and the consultant called the accounts department and explained my situation..and accounts response was they tried debting it on the 26 Dec.(I only got paid 27th Dec) Yet my bank statement shows the 24 Dec. I then asked why they tried the 26, when I signed my contract it was for the 28th of every month. Why am I liable to pay the charges for Capitec incompetence. And because they tried debt my account already for the month they cant debt again so I have to go to a bank, draw the money and then come back to the bank to pay my account. what a inconvenience once again because of Capitec Incompetence. The accounts department and consultant could not give me an answer. it was escalated on the 30 Dec 2013 (Incident:11102563) and I was told it would take 3 to 5 working days. It is 07 January and nothing.
