Sanral
Billing Statement

I received an sms on the Friday the 3rd of January stating that I owe R409.89 on my e-toll account. I called the customer care number on Saturday the 04th, to request a statement that shows all the transaction that lead to the R409.89, and the gentleman by the name Lehlohonolo said their system is slow, and said that He cannot view that on his side as it has been sent to collection and it is suspended on their side. He said I have a balance of R19 currently, but on the VPC it shows I owe around R600 and not the R409.89. He said, I must call the same number but chose the option for VPC. When I called that department, the lady still could not explain to me how the R408.89 came about and she was mumbling, and sounded like she does not know either. How can I owe R409.89/R766 from the 20/12/2013 to the 26/12/2013, and no one can produce a statement proving how this amount came about, yet it has been handed over, that does not make any professional sense to me. If you forced this thing on people, then you should have your story in check when customers need answers, as I feel I have been ripped off, and you have no statement to prove why I owe you that much. I am not happy at all.
