On the 3rd April 2013 I activated a BlackBerry Z10 on a Mtn Anytime 200 Topup for R409-00 per month. The package included airtime to the value of R200-00, free 250 mb data and 25 sms for the duration of the period of 24 months.
After activation I received half of the subscription airtime, data and sms instead of the whole amount on the 3rd April 2013. When I raised the matter with Mtn I was informed that I was only entitled to half of the agreed subscription airtime, data and sms as the activation took place in the middle of the billing month. I was also told that I will pay half of the subscription amount on a pro rata basis instead of the whole amount.
On the 22nd April 2013 I received a statement from Mtn that reflected two subscription amounts instead of only one for the period starting from the 3rd April till the 20th April 2013. The total amount payable was R548-00 instead of R409-00 as agreed on contract plus optional 30 mb data recharge services to the value of R30-00.
I registered a query on [URL Removed] but the response was unsatisfactory and irrelevant to the main issue of incorrect billing.
