When I finally decided to buy TT, I was reffered by a friend to what I assume is a representative for Tom Tom and gave me her number. This is the convo.

Me: Hey Marika, ek hoor jy werk vir TT, ek dink daaraan om een te koop. Die via 130 BT, hoeveel kos hy?

after seeing that she saw my message and did not even reply, I wrote...

Me: Jy kan net se as jy nie belangstel nie, dan kan ek iemand anders vra... Dis baie onprofesioneel om 'n moontlike klient te ignore.

she replied...

Marika: Jy kan net wag tot die werksplekke oop maak. Dis baie ongeskik om mense te pla op hul vakansie.

Me: So ver ek weet is Kersfees verby. En jy kon net 'n kort boodskap gestuur het om te laat weet jy's op vakansie, hoe moet ek weet jy's op vakansie? Meeste werksplekke is al weer oop.

Marika: As jy kan wag tot die 6de dan kan ek jou help. Ek het elkgeval n pryslys net by die werk

I did not expect this attitude. It actually makes me not want to buy a TT anymore. I'm deeply disappointed, and the fact that she couldn't even refer me to someone else that could help me. I understand and respect people's free-time, but it's no excuse to assume people have to know you're on holiday and to be rude about it.
