Paid up account on ITC

Good day,

My husband and myself had taken some furniture on account at Furnmart Phalaborwa in 2009. We paid our account as expected and then my husband M vd Linde got retrenched and lost his job. The kind people from Furnmart reminded us about the insurance that we had just for such purposes. The account was paid up by the insurance from Furnmart in 2011 and we thought that was that.

To our dissapointment, when we want to buy a car now in 2013, and now we discover that we were wrongly put on ITC by Furnmart. I phoned HeadOffice and tried to get to the problem as we have a letter to show that this account was paid in full. Furnmart Headoffice also agreed that they could see this was the case but that it was never updated on the system. This is cleary unacceptable as we can now not buy a car on my Husbands name. Its so frustrating that Esme at Furnmart Phalaborwa is so unhelpful. I know this is a busy time for businesses, but my goodness, someone did not do his/her job and now we must pay the price. Its unprofessional that you just not care about your customers and customer service at all. Furnmart would never see me again and I wouldnt recommed them at all.
