In May I purchased 4 trays of Amstel Lager on the 7th as I was about to use the last two, 6 packs I noticed that in the one, all the beers was only filled half way. The beers was in the shrink and all still sealed.
I contacted Brandhouse informing them of this - they requested the batch number and Expiry date which I supplied. The exp date was - Oct 2013 and I reported this case on 8 November 2013.
They came back stating they unable to help as the product has expired.
Point being if I complained about beers being flat or without gas, I would have understood.
In this case there is obviously a problem with quality control on the production line and instead of investigating and owning up to this, they hide behind the expiry date (oh by the way did I mention it was 7 days). Also I found it weird that there was a few different batched in the shrink.
Brandhouse cheated me out of my hard earned cash, because I paid for full beers not bottles half filled, unless of course they have developed a receipt that make beer evaporate after it has expired.
Infact if they told me this I would have left it, but hiding behind the expiry date is not on.
