I had a tv licence. About 10 or 11 years ago my tv setvetc was and I got a case number from the saps. I contacted the tv licence office and explained to them what happened. They then told me that I should go to my local post office with the case number and then my licence will be cancelled. I did that and thought that this case was settled. In the meantime I received no correspondence nor any calls from them. But now 11 years later I receive a sms from VVM (attorneys) to say that my tv licence is still outstanding. ELEVEN years later! I dont have the case number or documents anymore as I was told that this case is closed. What do you suggest I do about that?
