One would think that with the technology at hand, Experian will have a good service but NOOOOO! They phones are always not working, hence you can't even report a mishap on your online profile.
I have been on the phone for the past 1hr trying to get through to their 086 110 5665 number and I am still waiting!!!
How can one of SA's main credit bureau be such a downer??? I mean, I have been trying to get them to remove some incorrect info from my name for the past FIVE MONTHS!!! Plus their call centre department is as good as non-existent because NO-ONE BOTHERS TO ANSWER THAT PHONE!
I have finally managed to pay off my debts (which I was illegally listed for) and now that I want to view an updated credit report and file a dispute, there is "no one home" at the Experian camp!
TransUnion can teach these incompetent bunch a thing or two about great customer service... I managed to sort out my account in less than 5mins with TransUnion... and unlocked my account... pluuuus got an updated credit report/scoring while I was still waiting for Experian dots to answer their call centre number.
Experian should just close shop because they are useless & all credit reports be filtered via TransU!
