I bought a bed from Tafelberg Furnishers on 16/12/2012. Their delivery staff also did the assembly of the bed.
Not even a year later, the bed is falling apart. I phone them to come and have a look, and the staff told me the bed was irreparable. Two days later I am informed that this bed will be send to the supplier to be fixed, leaving me with a "loan" bed for 21 days!!
I am also informed that the supplier does not manufacture the specific type of bed any longer, and will have to fix the broken bed from the parts they use on other beds. When I asked the lady of Tafelberg how I will know that the repaired product will last, her response was: "I don't know that and you cannot expect a lifetime guarantee"! I do by no means expect a lifetime guarantee, but I also do not expect a brand new bed to last for 10 months!
I am utterly dissapointed in the service received, and after being a client for many years, I will certainly think twice about buying from them again, and I will also discourage my friends from doing so.
