Fixed even after guarantee expired

I bought a small bar fridge in April 2011, with the store guaranteed of 2 years. The fridge stopped cooling 2 months after the guarantee expired. I called the Somerset West branch where I bought it, and they asked me to bring it in. A week later, I get a call to say they have fixed my fridge, free of charge.
