I have never had an account at Microcare, always paid upfront or on collection. Now they are trying to extort more that R200k from me due to their bad bookkeeping/invoicing and personnel turnover.. They even billed me for an inverter that I sent in for repairs in Feb 2012 that I only got back in Feb 2013 (very slow repair time as all the other repairs). Due to their product quality I am out of pocket more than R100k, even my agents are refusing to sell their products due to failures. At this very moment there are 2 inverters with them for repairs more than 4 months. At this stage I have instructed all my agents that we will no longer supply or support the Microcare brand until this issue is resolved.By this issue I mean backup service, quality of products and there accounting system. Most of the products that failed keep on failing after repairs done by Microcare, If I understand our consumer protection act correctly it states that after the second repair they have to replace the goods, obviously Microcare are above the law.
