It appears that one can't cancel one's TV licence! After being harrassed by their collection agent, I submitted a signed affidavit, supplied by them, to the effect that I have not owned a TV since 1998 and the TV in my residence is owned and licenced by my girlfriend. All was quiet for a while, now, all of a sudden, someone seems to have found my details, but not the affidavit I supplied them some years back. So, the harrassment begins once again.
This is so frustrating. I am submitting this report in the slim hope that something positive may come out of it.
