I called SABC for cancellation of my TV licence on January 8 2013.
They sent me acknowledgement letter along with a affidavit form to fill in and have it attested at police station.
I sent back attested affidavit via email and fax.
I was still receiving notifications to pay my TV licence then i contacted again to make sure SABC had received my affidavit which they confirmed and asked me to send them some proof that i actually took TV set out of country.
Since then i have called them many times that i don't have any documentation proving that i took my newly bought TV set out of country.
Now SABC and some collection/dunning lawyers keep on calling and harassing me and i have been telling them i will not pay for a TV licence for rest of my life for a TV which i don't have anymore.
