I bought a limited edition leopard print GHD 3 years ago, but after about 6 months it kept beeping when you turned it on and didn't heat up as well any more. After about 3 days the thing stopped working all together and I had to send back my GHD. A month later GHD sent me a new one and it worked fine, for about a year before the same beeping sound was back and the new GHD was game over as well.
I sent back my second GHD and within 2 months a had a 3de GHD, also brand new. I used this straightener for about a year as well and know it wont heat up any more. It just makes a beeping sound when you turn it on.
I don't even use my straightener every day, just 2 or 3 times a week and I am super careful with it. I even store it in the bag and box it came with every time after I'm done using it. I am extremely disappointed in GHD for the bad quality products they supply. I spoke to my hair dresser this week and she told me she had two or three GHD's that did exactly the same thing. I bought a Tony & Guy straightener for a quarter of the price and it does the job, EVERY TIME.
